Anita was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa. She gratuated from Iona Convent in 1987.  Anita met her husband Martin Viljoen at the young age of 16, fell in love and were married. Their son Brandon John was born five years later. They decided to immigrate to Canada in August 1996 and made Cochrane their new home where,  Nicole, their daughter was born. After making this western town, west of Calgary, Alberta their home for 10 years they decided to move to Maple Ridge, British Columbia in 2006.
Anita loves to read, paint, embroider and dance, which lead to another art form, hidden for years until one morning she woke up with an idea and started doing some research and ended up writing and writing every night between 1:30 and 3:30 until Feeders took shape. All she needed was an ending, thanks to a good friend for help she, finally did it.

A year later Hybrid took shape and glad to say it was released in January 2012.

Anita has now completed her third book - A Bride Reborn which has a reincarnations theme due to be released Spring 2013
